Deteksi Kadar Amonia Menggunakan Sensor pH, Suhu, dan Turbidity untuk mengoperasionalkan Pompa Aerator pada Kolam Ikan Air Tawar
Abstract
Kualitas pH dan suhu yang buruk penghambat pertumbuhan ikan. Oleh karena itu, dirancang alat pendeteksi kadar amonia menggunakan sensor pH, suhu dan turbidity untuk mengoperasionalkan pompa aerator pada kolam ikan. Sensor yang digunakan adalah sensor pH-4502, suhu DS18B20, dan turbidity DFRobot untuk pengukuran parameter kualitas air yang menjadi acuan dalam penentuan kadar amonia pada kolam. Setiap sensor terhubung dengan mikrokontroler Arduino Uno yang juga dilengkapi oleh pompa aerator. Pengujian dilakukan 10 kali percobaan dengan batas toleransi kadar amonia 1 mg/l. Hasil rata-rata pengukuran suhu adalah 28,948°C, pengukuran pH adalah 7,654, dan kekeruhan air adalah 37,6%. Data pengukuran tersebut digunakan untuk menentukan kadar amonia pada kolam ikan. Dari 10 percobaan yang dilakukan, hasil rata-rata kadar amonia adalah 0,869 mg/l. Hasil tersebut menunjukkan kadar amonia belum melebihi batas toleransi, sehingga pompa aerator tidak menyala dan alat ini dapat digunakan untuk memantau kadar amonia pada kolam ikan sebagai solusi peningkatan kadar amonia.
